The standard product BASIC is covered by a surface paperboard on both sides. It is a green, strong and affordable alternative to other interior construction boards. Combine it with a layer of 12mm gypsum board to reach 60 minutes fire resistance classification (one layer of 12mm RECOMA Basic + one layer of 12mm gypsum). This saves costs both at material purchase and installation.

The Design variant has a transparent surface on one side and is intended for applications where the interior content of the board should be exposed and visible to tell the material's circular story. Keep in mind Reaction to Fire Classification (E) that might limit its use or require additional treatment.

BASIC with rounded edges is covered by a surface paperboard and has rounded edges for jointing and puttying. As such, it can be installed like a gypsum board and its surface treated in any traditional way. Keep in mind that the since the surface is more textured, the result may not be as perfectly smooth as with a gypsum board and requires more work by the painter. Also keep in mind Reaction to Fire Classification (E) that might limit its use or require additional treatment. Since it is also strong as an OSB board, it can replace two layers at once, saving 90% of CO2 emissions with a lower price tag.
